Firefox 9 is now available for download and that latest version of Firefox is coming up with some speed increases, better integration with OS X and with lots of stability improvements than the previous version.
Right now you won’t be able to view or download firefox 9 on the official Mozilla page but the download will be up and ready to go ahead of tomorrow’s official release of Firefox 9.
This new version Firefox includes the following features: There is added Type Inference with significantly improving JavaScript performance. More Improved theme integration for Mac OS X Lion is there. There is also added up two finger swipe navigation for Mac OS X Lion. There is also added support for querying Do Not Track status via JavaScript. The font-stretch support is added with more improved support for text-overflow. There is also more improved standards support for HTML5, MathML, and CSS with some fixed several stability issues.

According to the source of ExtremeTech , it is reported that 20 to 30% increases in speed is expected as compared to Firefox 8, due to the new type inference feature additions in its JavaScript engine.
